Big Red Barn, 170 Good Counsel Dr.

Native bees have a wide diversity of types including fuzzy bumblebees, small carpenter bees and yellow-faced bees. In Minnesota alone, there are at least 350 different species if not more. Native bees are some of the most efficient pollinators and support many native plant communities along with some of our favorite food crops like apples, blueberries and cranberries. Join Scott Kudelka from the Minnesota DNR in an informative workshop about these important contributors to our local eco-system. Light snacks will be provided. Advanced registration is appreciated to plan for food.
