Gardening 101
Are you wanting to garden this summer, but don't know where to start? Or maybe you want to improve your gardening skills? Join us and learn what you need to know to make your garden blossom this season!
Taught by local Master Gardener Mary Walker, we will discuss various topics, including preparing and designing your garden plot. Which veggies are best grown from seed and which from transplants? What seed packets tell us. How to select and plant transplants, when and how to water and fertilize. Care during the growing season and finally harvesting. There will be plenty of time for questions and sharing as we set out to make this a great growing season!
No prior experience necessary. Please bring shoes and clothes you don't mind getting dirty. Parking is available in the Loyola parking lot across the street from the big red barn.
