This introductory canning class is designed to give you the basic information you need to try your hand at canning and see where it takes you. We will focus on equipment and food safety. I'll share some of my favorite canning disasters with you and let you know what I learned from them. We will can tomatoes using a water bath canner, but I will also touch on the role of pressure canners. I will send you off with resources to help you find your next canning adventure and help you do so safely
